Fall Feelin's

Your guide to the top styles for fall 2021

So I don't know about you all but fall is one of my favorite season. I also think its the time of the year that people look their absolute best. There is just so much to work with since the weather is not extremely hot or cold (please note I am speaking from an entirely Midwest POV.) So with that being said here is a look at some of my 2021 fall favorites

Make It Bold

So typically bold colors are a summertime trend but I love them for the anytime of the year. Blue hues, bold reds, bright yellows are always in my color wheel. I feel as though they make such a statement when paired correctly. Bold colors don't always need to be paired with a lot, the more simple the outfit, the bolder the color. (Unless your doing a bold monochromatic look, then go crazy). My favorite is always a simple nude, white, or black outfit. And I can't believe we still have to say this, but YES you CAN wear white after Labor Day! Here are some of my favorite fall bold looks! And feel free to go crazy with the color. Orange, pink and green can be done as well.

Oversized is Never Over Done

So I live for comfy looks and clothes. The oversized sweater is never leaving my closet. EEEVEERRR! Its the prefect lounge meets casual, meets comfy, item and a fall staple. And personally, I love to be comfy and functional all day. So oversized T-shirts and sweaters are always a great choice for me. Now, warning, as a curvy girl I do have to be careful so things don't make me look more boxy than curvy, but in general I tend to have very little issues with oversized clothing. It's usually always very flattering. Here are a few tips when looking for oversized clothing

When it's advertised as oversized, by your size or a size smaller. Typically you never have to go up a size as the adjustments for are already made or that item to be oversized.

  1. STAY in your color wheel. This is crucial, ESPECIALLY for oversized clothing. More of a color that does not work for you will NEVER flatter you. Believe me I have tried and I am trying to save you a lot of heartache and self esteem boosting talks in the mirror.

  2. Flaunt your style. The great thing about oversized clothing is that it crosses many different styles. Grunge it up with an oversized pants and a fitted punk rock Tee, and leather jacket. Or go preppy with an oversized sweater, tennis skirt and thigh high boots. Either way its a win in my book.

LA Vida Logo

Ok so I honestly used to cringe at full out logo fits. Like I have never been a fan, but I see them making their way back into the fashion world. (My personal fave to do it is Fendi). And not just in accessories, we are talking full on fits yall, like heed to toe! (SMH) Now my personal opinion is always break it up. You can do the shirt and pants, but not the shoes, and if we are doing the shoes, lets not do the pants. However, it seems the fashion gods have ruled in favor of going all out. So with that being said I have only one thing to say: PLEASE MATCH YOUR LOGOS. Do not think you can wear the monogram LV polo with the Damier checkered pants. AHT AHT. No ma'am! I will not have it!

FuR It UP!

Ok I know fur is traditionally a winter look, but who wants to wait till its cold to look good. I mean honestly a fur coat in the dead of winter is just functional. It keeps you warm, but wear it inside and you're melting. No one gets to just awe at you in all your furriness. I am personally submitting a vote that fur in the fall become a yearly tradition because fur goes with everything! I am a huge fan of versatility. I love a fur vest with my gym shoes as a streetwear look for running a few errands, give me a chic dress and fur shawl for date night, and a cute crop fur jacket and with jeans as a casual look for girls night. Paired with the right look and accessories a fur can work a miracle on your wardrobe.

I hope this helps get your fall wardrobe in line! To shop the looks be sure to check out my amazon store !
